Active Senior Republicans September 2021 Meeting

State Senator Chapin Rose (51stDist.), who was called to Springfield for the Democrat caucus on the energy/climate bill, introduced our speakers—State Rep. Chris Miller (110th Dist.) and State Rep. Adam Niemberg (109th Dist.)—who might represent parts of Champaign County under the new map.

With facts, insight, and passion, they described the horrors of the latest laws passed or pending in the Illinois legislature:  “Culturally Responsive Teaching and Leading Standards,” the new sex- education mandates, and the energy/ climate bill. They explained how Republicans are locked out of the process, how the far left has taken over with the exit of Madigan, and how some Republicans have failed to stand up for our core beliefs and sanity. Chris and Adam received a standing ovation from the audience of 45.
