Support Your County Board and Make a Difference!

The Republican members of the County Board members are working hard for our community. While they are outnumbered 14 to 8, they are a strong, dedicated group who care deeply about the many issues facing our county.

At the latest meeting on October 12, they defended a request for additional Sheriff's Department personnel to keep your communities safe, and challenged the district mapping which does not address the deeper and broader issue of equity among our citizens.

It's not strictly a numbers game when you consider that our large agricultural area is not densely populated and therefore not adequately represented. We can learn more about what the board members are voting on and voice our opinions by logging into their monthly meetings with this link: http://www.co.champaign.il.us/CountyBoard/Committee_Of_The_Whole/2021/211012_Meeting/211012_Zoom_Instructions.pdf
